Young Ambassadors of Civilization: Sharing the Legacy of the Erlitou Museum with the World

Vinston Charity was in Henan to learn about the culture and conservation of the Erlitou Civilization. We started by visiting the Luoyang Vocational and Technical College, where we were able to tour the facility and gain insight towards the conservatory research that went on. The next day, we went to the Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital, a grand exhibit where Vinston got a first hand tour in the cultural relics of the ancient Erlitou culture, along with getting a preview look of their new upcoming exhibit.

Why This Matters
This project strengthened cultural understanding while giving students firsthand responsibility in community-based service and collaboration.
